Dear Parents,

Because we live in a community where most students ride the bus, a concern has developed over how the band students will be able to take their instruments home to practice.  Students who ride the bus often find cramped buses with large and heavy instrument cases.  There simply is not enough room.

To alleviate some of this, I will do the following:

1)  Open the band hall at 7:15 p.m. EVERY morning.

2)  Close the band hall at 4:45 p.m. EVERY day.

Parents, you may drop your son or daughter off as early as 7:15 a.m.   They will be supervised by myself AS LONG AS THEY ARE IN THE BAND HALL.

You may also pick up your son or daughter in the afternoon as late as 4:45 p.m.  AFTER 4:45  p.m., THEY WILL NOT BE SUPERVISED.  Instead, they may wait outside the building to be picked up.  They should be picked up in the parking lot in the back of the building directly outside the band hall.

I highly encourage every band student to do this.  The more, the merrier.   It also helps the students keep a regular practice everyday.
